It's useful to log how many rats from a litter were stillborn. This might even be useful for longterm statistics/reporting.

Questions

Is there any merit to having stillborn rats in the system as rats, or just as an editable number? If just a number we can make the total rats calculation take that into account especially.

If we want full rats in the system do we need a special stillborn marker or do we implicitly acknowledge it when rats died on the date of birth?
