I'm a PhD student at KU Leuven, where I research Knowledge Graphs and AI. Previously, I was active as a Data Engineer at VITO (Flemish Institute for Technological Research).
I am currently working on:
- REEVALUATE: Framework for safe, open, collaborative and inclusive digitization and management of cultural heritage.
Where my focus is on:
- Ontologies for context in the Cultural Heritage domain.
- Neurosymbolic AI techniques for ontology alignment.
- AI techniques for contextualisation of digital artefacts.
- A search & retrieval system for reuse of digital artefacts.
I have contributed to other European research projects, such as:
- PARC: Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals.
- INQUIRE: Improving indoor air quality for a healthier home and Europe.
- EIRENE: Environmental Exposure Assessment Research Infrastructure.
Where I was mostly part of work related to FAIR/linked data and data governance.
A couple of the things I have worked on:
- PyHBM: Python package for data harmonization and FAIRification of human biomonitoring (and other) datasets.
- HBM tools: Public UI to expose PyHBM to researchers.
- parco-hbm: Ontology/data model related to human biomonitoring data.
And some personal projects, which you can find on my GitHub page.
