Physical fitness is a state of health and well-being and, more specifically, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations and daily activities. Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition, moderate-vigorous physical exercise, and sufficient rest along with a formal recovery plan.

Exercise is defined as any movement that makes your muscles work and requires your body to burn calories. Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Adults who sit less and do any amount of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity gain some health benefits.

About Project

This is an individual project. Everything is created by me. This website is not a clone of any other website. This is a simple body exercise app. It contains more than a thousand exercises. I have also created it's api. You can refer to the repo for more details. (Server)

Features of website :

  • On the landing page, you will see a simple navigation bar and a simple slider below it.
  • On the landing page, there is a category section containing all the categories, by which you can filter out exercises.
  • On the landing page, you will see a search box, from there you can search for any exercise and if it causes any error it will reflect you with a proper massage.
  • On clicking on any exercise, it will redirect you to another page, where you can see details of this exercise.
  • On the exercise information page, you will be seeing related videos to that exercise.
  • On the exercise information page, you will see similar exercises and similar equipment exercises.

Instructions to browse the project :

First you need to clone or download this project from here.

https://github.com/SaurabhSinghRbz/fitness-react-project.git

After cloning the project you need to install its dependencies, for this run this command. Do this in both folders (client and Server)

npm i

or

npm install

If you are visiting after long time and you are facing issue with installing the dependencies, then you can use this command.

npm i --force

or

npm i --legacy-peer-deps

After successful clone, run this command to run it on localhost server

npm start
