Discord-Nickname-Changer-Bot

Introduction

This is a simple Discord bot created using Java Discord API (JDA) to help users set and manage their nicknames within your server.

Setup the bot

  • Use the following link format to invite the bot to your server: 
      https://discord.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=1244302292560384110
  • In any text channel, use slash command /aqiqah to set the current text channel as the listening channel for nickname changes.
  • The bot will then respond, confirming that it will now listen to this channel for nickname changes.

Change your nickname

  • Simply send a message to the designated channel.
  • The bot will immediately update your nickname to the message content.
