I’d say I like international rules football better than English football (EF). Examples:
1.1 It seems that one may play the ball with any part of one’s body.
I like seeing goals scored with one’s hands. It reminds me of volleyball. I’d like to play this sport.
1.2 I and others enjoy seeing sportspeople score.
When we want to see this more often than in games of English football with up to one goal, we can watch international football. I feel like calling it this; feel free to suggest better names for it!
1.3 It seems more peaceful than EF.
1.3.1 They cushion the vertical bars to reduce the risk of injury.
1.4 One can change players much more freely.
1.5 The game continues while they are changing players.
1.6 Goalkeepers may tackle players.
1.7 One can pass the ball faster.
1.8 When an opponent intercepts a pass, what happens next is more interesting.
1.9 Players seem to be on side all the time.
1.10 One may kick the ball in.
1.11 One may score when one kicks the ball in.
1.12 They stop the clock when the referees check a play to make a decision.
1.13 What does one feel when one kicks a ball?
This kind of football gives more opportunities to live these feelings.
I guess that players enjoy themselves more, too.
What changes would you like to see?
2.1 Do you want the field to be rectangular or oval?
2.2 The number of players seems fine.
2.3 I prefer round balls to oval balls.
2.4 We could allow people of any gender to be on a certain team.
You decide whether it will be strictly men’s football and women’s football.
2.5 We can allow teams smaller than 15 players to play.
When a team is larger than the other one by at least 2 players, the smaller team can borrow at least 1 player.
Once you let me know in which towns you would go to a game, we can make available tickets to such a game.
