Monitor
The monitor attribute is a boolean which marks if a prefix should be monitored or not by a monitoring system.
NIPAP does not monitor prefixes in any way. The monitor attribute is merely there so that other systems can read it and act upon it.
Alarm priority
Much like the monitor attribute, this is not an attribute that NIPAP acts upon but is merely meant to be used by another system. The user can set the priority that an alarm should have if the prefix in question goes down in the monitoring system.
