With the amount of dedication, leading the full
v3.5.0
release successfully: (https://stackstorm.com/2021/06/29/stackstorm-v3-5-0-released/), contributing to the st2 overall direction, teamwork, maintenance, guiding others and sharing the knowledge about all the StackStorm parts, the requirements in https://github.com/StackStorm/st2/blob/master/GOVERNANCE.md#how-to-become-a-senior-maintainer tick every possible option.Amanda drove, contributed to the major projects and was heavily involved in:
v3.5.0 Python 2->3 was a really huge one with many people and lots of sub-projects put together. It also had one of the biggest amount of moving items that demonstrated some awesome teamwork and coordination. Besides that, she led maintenance updates like security, nodejs, pip, st2web, mongodb across all the dark places of the StackStorm and just being on top of the game.
With the really hard ongoing work, she's the biggest StackStorm Contributor for the past year by the aggregated data like: Pull Requests, Commits, Code Reviews, Issues closed, Triaged bugs, Major Projects, and release items.
Amanda got an insight about almost all the aspects of the systems: st2 core, installers, packaging, Ansible, st2web, docker, chatops, st2cicd, workflows and infrastructure, and also active on forums (https://forum.stackstorm.com/u/amanda11/activity), github, Slack, always willing to help the community and grow the new TSC members. It's also nice to see Amanda pro-active for every release, helping with the significant roadmap efforts during the past 1.5 years.
I'd like to propose promoting Amanda McGuinness to the StackStorm TSC Senior Maintainers and more than happy to see such a strong support to StackStorm. Thank you for being such an inspiration for the entire StackStorm community! ✌️
