Preswald is an open-source project dedicated to fostering an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive environment for everyone, regardless of experience level, identity, or background. We are committed to making collaboration a positive and productive experience for all contributors.
In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming community, we as contributors and maintainers pledge to:
- Be respectful and considerate of differing viewpoints and experiences.
- Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or negative behavior.
- Strive for collaboration over conflict and constructive criticism over disparagement.
- Make the community a safe and friendly space for everyone.
Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:
- Using inclusive and respectful language.
- Being open to constructive feedback and willing to learn from others.
- Offering help and support to those in need.
- Respecting the work and contributions of others.
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
- Using offensive or discriminatory language or imagery.
- Harassing others publicly or privately, including stalking or unwelcome attention.
- Insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks.
- Disrupting discussions or community activities in a negative way.
Instances of unacceptable behavior may be reported to the project team via [amrutha@preswald.com]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. The project team is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of reporters.
If a contributor is found to be in violation of the Code of Conduct, they may face temporary or permanent consequences, including but not limited to warnings, removal from the project, or banning from community spaces.
