Documenting our experience of SLC Development

SLC development has been going so well that we have talked multiple times about documenting how we are approaching things differently with TrackShift, other projects and life in general since working and thinking in this way.

Here's a space to do that.

@g105b told me on the phone that SLC had got him past a block on a hobby project.

He's been making a model aircraft for ages. It has a wooden frame that he completed and really enjoyed, having not had much experience in woodwork prior to doing it.

The next step is to 'wrap' the wooden frame so that it can fly. Going from thinking about wood to thinking about plastics made Greg disconnect from the project, and it has been on pause ever since.

But by thinking about what he needs to do next as something simple, loveable and complete the task at hand now seems manageable, achievable, and enjoyable.

When you look at something as one big immense task, it's easy to get overwhelmed by it or even disconnect from it because of an inability to grasp the steps needed or see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I'll let Greg expand on this in his own words when he can.
