A program in which you have to press Ctrl+Break (not even Ctrl+C) to terminate it is bad programming.
The older version that I happen to have, used Python's time module in a loop in which you could do whatever you wanted, among which of course, stopping the music at any time, which is absolutely necessary. (The problem of course with it was that it totally miscalculated the audio duration. )
