Status Effects ⚗️
Protection of the Hive
Obtained when feeding bees or Honeycomb Brood Blocks with any item from the_bumblezone:bee_feedable_items tag. However, hitting a bee or killing a Honeycomb brood Block will remove Protection of the Hive effect.
Feeding bees or brood blocks a Sugar Water Bottle has a 7% of granting you Protection of the Hive effect.
Feeding bees or brood blocks a Honey Bottle instead has a 30% chance of granting you Protection of the Hive effect.
Feeding bees or brood blocks a Honey Bucket has a 80% chance of giving you Protection of the Hive.
Feeding bees or brood blocks a Royal Jelly Bottle or Royal Jelly Bucket will always grant you Protection of the Hive effect.
Other tagged bee feedable items will have a 10% chance unless they have "honey" in the name, then they have 20% chance of giving the Protection of the Hive effect.
This effect calms all angry bees at the entity that got Protection of the Hive.
If a protected entity is hit by another mob, all bees will attack the attacker.
Prevents players from getting Wrath from the following actions (Protection of the Hive will not be lost):
Allows players to mine translucent Honey Blocks
Allow taking honey from Filled Honeycomb Blocks with Glass Bottle
Prevent Cell Maze structure from inflicting Wrath of the Hive on the protected player.
Protection of the Hive effect is lost for the following actions (You will not get Wrath of the Hive if Protection was just removed. A one time buffer against getting Wrath for accidentally hurting bees):
Hitting a Bee (Beehemoth won’t give Wrath unless changed in config)
Hitting the Bee Queen
Breaking a Honeycomb Brood Block without Silk Touch
Wrath of the Hive
This Wrath effect is obtained if you perform the following action without Protection of the Hive effect on (limited time effect) or have not yet consumed Essence of the Bees item (See Essence of the Bees item in Item section for more info about it):
Taking honey from Filled Porous Honeycomb Block with a Glass Bottle
Mining the translucent Honey Block
Entering Cell Maze structure (Wearing Flower Headwear prevents Wrath from Cell Maze)
Wrath will always be obtained for the following actions (Protection of the Hive will be removed and stop Wrath as a one time buffer against obtaining Wrath):
Hitting a Bee (Beehemoth won’t give Wrath unless changed in config)
Hitting the Bee Queen
Breaking a Honeycomb Brood Block without Silk Touch
Wrath will make all nearby bees angry at the entity and gives the bees many effects that makes them stronger and nastier!
The Bumblezone Dimension will turn red and Flight of the Bumblebee by Rimsky Korsakov will begin playing!
Nearby Honeycomb Brood Blocks will begin to have accelerated growth and spawn bees quicker!
Beenergized
Obtained when consuming Bee Bread or when you have used an Essence of the Bees and then go into Royal Jelly Fluid.
Will increase the flight speed of flying mobs it is applied to.
Players with Bumble Bee Chestplate will get increased flying speed and flight duration.
Hidden
The effect is given when hiding in deep Piles of Pollen blocks. It is essentially Invisibility effect with mob detection without making the mob invisible.
When the Pile of Pollen is covering up to just below the mob's eye, they get Hidden 1 which makes them not detectable by other mobs until those other mobs are hit or touched. (If the hidden mob/player was already previously seen by a mob, the viewing mobs will still attack the hiding mob/player)
When the Pile of Pollen covers the mob's eyes, they get Hidden 2 which now also will make swarms of angry bees lose track of where the hidden mob went!
Paralyzed
Obtained when hit by a weapon that has Neurotoxins Enchantment or when hit many times rapidly by shot Bee Stingers from bows/crossbows. Also can be obtained sometimes by eating Bee Soup or drinking Neurotoxin Potion.
Sets the mob to be immobile which will usually disable the mob's AI and movements. Some mobs may still be able to resist the effect and do actions such as Witches drinking potions.
Undead mobs along with Iron and Snow Golems are immune to this status effect. Additional mobs can be made immune to this effect by adding them to the the_bumblezone:paralyzed/immune entity type tag. Can add
minecraft:player
to the tag to make players immune to Paralyzed effect.Maximum possible duration for Paralyzed effect can be set with the
paralyzedMaxTickDuration
config option. Note, actions that re-apply Paralyzed effect will refresh the timer for it.
