Question about log save

[Pxx-X]

after I run global_route in openroad, I want to save the log information it returns to a file,
I try global_route -verbose >> ./a.txt, the error is [ERROR STA-0564] global_route positional arguments not supported.
what should I do?

You can use the tee command. tee -file a.txt {global_route -verbose}
