A universal search bar for Chrome
This extension will not be developed further because it seems this functionality is already existant in Chrome. Go into settings > Manage Search Engines
and there you can add websites and edit existing websites.
Go to the Chrome Web Store and press install. Once this is done, use the extension!
To quickly search in a website, simply type the website name and then the search query. For instance, to search Youtube for dancing cats
, just type youtube dancing cats
. It's that simple! To add your own, simply press the icon in the upper right and press add new website template
. Follow the instructions and off you go!
Right now, you cannot add any websites, just a heads up!
The search icon is derived from the Material Design Icons by Google under the Apache License Version 2.0.
