Contribution Guidelines

Please note that this project is released with a Contributor Code of Conduct. By participating in this project you agree to abide by its terms.

Ensure your pull request adheres to the following guidelines:

  • If you are adding a link, ensure you link to the main homepage if possible
  • Dead links are bad. Please help us remove any we missed.
  • Brevity is best. Short titles please.
  • Avoid adding the same link in more than one place.
  • Ensure you pull the latest changes prior to pushing a PR.
  • This is an AWESOME list, not a general aggregator. Please don't be offended if your suggestion doesn't make the cut at this time. Feel free to suggest again later.
  • If you add a new section to the outline, or you add a link to a previously empty section, add a link in the table of contents to that section.
  • If this is your first contribution, don't forget to add yourself to Contributors with a link to your GitHub profile. No other personal links are allowed in this space.

Updating your PR

A lot of times, making a PR adhere to the standards above can be difficult. If the maintainers notice anything that we'd like changed, we'll ask you to edit your PR before we merge it. There's no need to open a new PR, just edit the existing one. If you're not sure how to do that, here is a guide on the different ways you can update your PR so that we can merge it.
