We're so glad you're thinking about contributing to this V2X Manual Data Collection project. If you're unsure about anything, just ask -- or submit the issue or pull request anyway. If you want to contact us outside GitHub, you can reach out to Tony English at tony@neaeraconsulting.com

Licensing Status

As noted in LICENSE.md, this project is under the MIT license (copy, modify, merge, publish and distribute free of charge).

All contributions to this project will be released under the MIT license. By submitting a pull request, you are agreeing to comply with this waiver.

How to contribute to V2X Manual Data Collection

  • Report bugs and request features via Github Issues.
  • Email us your ideas on how to improve this proof of concept toolset.
  • Create a Github pull request with new functionality or fixing a bug.
  • Triage tickets and review update-tickets created by other users.

Guidelines

  • Issues:
    • Create issues using the SMART goals outline (Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic and Time-Aware)
  • Pull Requests:
    • Create all pull requests from the master branch
    • Create small, narrowly focused PRs
    • Maintain a clean commit history so that they are easier to review
