  1. Add tabs to collection block URS-404 PR#

    • This adds tabs with metadata, and other content to the collection page.

    • Possible next steps:

      • Changing the default page to the gallery view may result in funk behavor.
      • Is it always being the gallery view even if you selected list view before a refresh OK?

    • Some of the metadata blocks say Item Overview and About the Item. Should that be changed to collection?

  2. Switch to use system specs (#415) URS-415 PR#
    • System specs are more reliable for front end testing than feature tests are.
    • Switch to using them for consistency with Californica
    • And better results when we write smoketests.
  3. Fix for missing service contact metadata URS- PR#
  4. Add metadata to collection partial URS-402 PR#
    • These metadata should appear under the title for the collection:
      • Description
      • Date Created
      • Repository
      • Languages

As a researcher, I would like to see all the available metadata for a work, so that I have the fullest possible context for the thing I'm looking at.

Based on the groupings in this spreadsheet:

  • Display the high-level groupings listed in the spreadsheet

  • Under each high-level grouping, display the corresponding fields that are marked "Display in Ursus"

  • When a field has no metadata, don't display the field label (this should be the current behavior already)

  3. Fix the date sort PR-399
    • This changes the date sorting and display so that the user is able to sort by the creation date of an item both ascending and descending. This also changes the display field for the date on the index page to display the date that was used for sorting.
    • This also adds the ARK field to the default search so that users can search by the ARK.
