Introduction

Tower2 is a specialised tower entity which extends from the Entity class and has unique damage and hit point values. Tower2 is the first defensive tower designed, and will allow the player to defend themselves, and the Crystal from enemies in the game. This is critical to the studio's game as it is a major part of how users are able to survive the waves of enemies and can complete the game.

Class Design

Components have been added which have provided the tower attributes described above, as well as creating a collider component and hitbox for the tower.

Future Expansion

In the future, research can be conducted with:

  • Users, to understand what additional features they would expect of a defensive building (e.g. ability to repair, ability to customise)
  • Other games, to allow developers to take inspiration / build upon features from games of the same genre
