User Testing

Upon iterating on a few designs, we finally came up with a first design of the Main Character. To determine how viable our design was we chose to user test it amongst students from our studio as it provides us with a fresh, unbiased opinion and nothing would be swayed by our teams’ internal opinions. This would help us gain perspective and a direction to move forward in, as well as help us improve the mistakes we made. We aim to reflect upon the results for the future sprints.

User testing was conducted through a survey/questionnaire and following are the question/responses and analysis.

User Testing for the Weapon

Weapon Design

The main feedback we received in this questionnaire was regarding changes to the weapon - in further Sprints, this weapon will be additionally refined to better fit the character as well as the Atlantis theme, which is yet to be explored. Moreover, this will allow us to design multiple weapons that can be equiped and/or swapped for different enemies. In conclusion, the user testing has helped give us direction for the future.
