- Code Formatting – This just means I fixed some of the code… or at least I think I did, and that’s what matters!
- Improved Image Upload – Re-upload your vehicle images to use the HA API. This change reduces YAML view loading time by avoiding long image URLs. It was fixed a while ago, then I broke it… but then I fixed it again. 🙂
- Fix for Icon Labels – I forgot what they were doing, but whatever it was, I didn’t like it.
- Updated Translations – Hopefully, I have the correct translations, and I’m not accidentally telling people their dog is on fire...
- Fixed Classes Being Read-Only When Updating – This might fix many of your card issues, which in turn become my issues. Your issues become mine because I care!
- Improved Entity Image Selection – Improving things feels like progress.
- Autocomplete Entity Field Fix – Entity fields should now show an image if needed, and typing actually autocompletes correctly to help find the correct entity. No clue why it didn’t do that in the first place, but I nudged it in the right direction.
- Dynamic Colors – I removed computed hex values, so by default, it should use CSS variable colors (i.e.,
var), which should work with theme changes, including automatic light/dark mode switching.
Sorry it took so long to get this release out. I was out with pneumonia and it sucked. While I was out I wrote a letter to all of you.
A thousand pardons, dear users, for this long-awaited release, delayed by an illness that laid siege to me like a cruel knight’s curse. As I battled in shadows and fevers, it felt as if this update would perish with me, my strength sapped as each line of code lay unfinished in the haze. But even as I lingered on the edge, visions of this card’s rebirth shimmered in my fevered mind, like a loyal kingdom awaiting its sovereign’s return.
At last, I am here to present to you the Ultra Vehicle Card anew — polished and mended as though by alchemy, restored for you with all the care of a royal craftsman. Thank you, dear patrons, for your patience as I rose from my bed to bring this gift to your realm once more.
