By submitting a Contribution to Wizeline as part of an open source Project, You agree to be bound by the following Wizeline Contributor License Agreement (the "Agreement"). Except for the license and rights granted herein to Wizeline and any recipients of software using Your Contribution, You reserve all right, title, and interest in and to Your Contributions.
- "Contribution" means any computer software code or copyrightable material submitted by You as part of a Project.
- "Project" means any open source project that is owned or managed by Wizeline and licensed under an open source license approved by the Open Source Initiative (OSI) (www.opensource.org).
- "Wizeline" means Wizeline, Inc. or any of its affiliates.
- "You" means the individual submitting a Contribution by itself or on behalf of a legal entity. If the Contribution is submitted by a legal entity, the entity making a Contribution and all other entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common control with that entity are considered to be a single individual.
Copyright License - To the maximum extent permitted by law, You grant Wizeline and any individual or legal entity that uses a Contribution submitted by You as part of a Project, a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty- free, irrevocable license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense and distribute the Contribution and such derivative works.
Patent License – To the maximum extent permitted by law, You grant Wizeline and any individual or legal entity that uses a Contribution submitted by You as part of a Project, a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty- free, irrevocable license to your patent claims (to the extent such claims are necessarily infringed by your Contribution or by virtue of its combination with the Project), to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell and import or otherwise dispose of the Contribution alone or with the Project.
You represent that you are legally entitled to grant the above licenses and that the content of your Contribution is Your original work of authorship. If your Contribution is made as part of or in the context of employment, you represent and warrant that You have received permission to make a Contribution on behalf of Your employer, or that Your employer has waived such rights.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. You waive all defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction and forum non-conveniens.
You agree to notify Wizeline of any circumstances that you become aware of that would prevent You from granting the licenses and rights under this Agreement or that would make Your representations and warranties inaccurate.
