The image below shows how many strongholds will 100% spawn within the radius not including its chunk size parameter (All structures can spawn within an area of a chunk "radius" meaning a stronghold could be outside of the numbers by a few hundred blocks but that's the most) Strongholds cannot spawn at like 512, 512.
