Dell-Vostro-3568-macOS-EFI-OpenCore

alt text OpenCore EFI for Dell Vostro 3568 i5-7th gen. Everything works. Enjoy. I have spent a lot of time in researching and setting up this EFI. Enjoy. You have to just put the EFI folder in EFI partition and boot it up but there's a catch.

Things you are supposed to do before installation.

  • Generate Platform Info and add into the config plist, follow this OpenCore guide. (After adding platform info in config plist you can just boot it up and install)

Things you are supposed to do after the installation.

  • Set SecureBootModel from Disabled to x86legacy in Misc -> Security -> SecureBootModel.
  • Install ComboJack for proper functioning of 3.5mm headphone jack.
  • Generate CPUFriendFriend Kext on your own and put it in Kext folder.
