Moved V1 into a sep folder until further notice. Rendering method is now completed. Verify is the next step

Took longer than expected :/
The plugin as below should work in Craft 3 and have the same functionalities as its C2 brother. It now also supports styling the widget using the
data-themeanddata-sizeproperties. Its really up to you if you want to upload it to the plugin store but it would be pretty cool.
