Emojify

An app to cast your emotions as an emoji!. This app is build using Google's Mobile vision library.

Getting Started

• Fork the repo
• Now in android studio goto file
• Select new > Import from version control
• Choose git / github (git option recommanded )
• Paste url to repository i.e https://github.com/{your github userid}/Emojify.git
• Click on clone.

Working

• First a picture is taken by the User
• Then the picture taken by the user is processed and resampled
• Then the faces are detected using the face detector api of mobile vision library
• Now according to the detected face the expressions of the person is detected and according to the probability the obtained a corresponding emoji is selected
• After selecting the corresponding emoji, the emoji is overlapped over the image of user.
