The name is derived from words Process/Production + Python + lean programming/manufacturing. Propylean is a Python library for analysis of production plants for chemical and related process industries. It wraps Pandas and PySpark series for time-series analysis of instrument data. Supports for general calculations like hydraulics, vessel sizing and other process engineering calculations will be provided and constantly updated.
