P,
I was "awakened" by your supervisors questions about Digital Transformation in rich vs. poor countries. First, you clarified that "success" of a Digital Transformation project is measured by % usage of the platform setup.
This led us to contemplate a very well known phenomenon: Post-2020 vs. Pre-2020 % usage of Zoom, Google Meetings, and Microsoft Team Meetings.
Usage increase. For zoom which most of us even didn't know, 2020 launched them into every household on the planet and they are no the most famous remote meeting platform, way ahead of the big boys at Google and Microsoft.
So would it be appropriate to judge Zoom, Google, and Microsoft platforms for meetings by % usage? Were they failures before 2020 and sudden successes after? If so, then they did absolutely nothing to cause their success!!
Let's use this backdrop to lay the ground for discussing your thesis. I've also just learned that Google Cloud is on massive international hiring spree. Does this relate to what we are talking about?
