Prerequisites

GitHub Account

First at all, it is required to create a GitHub account in order to be able to create a code repository and save our training code there.

Please, follow the next steps in order to create a GitHub account and synchronize the required training code:

  • Go to https://github.com/join in a web browser.
  • Enter your personal details. In addition to creating a username and entering an email address, you'll also have to create a password. Your password must be at least 15 characters in length or at least 8 characters with at least one number and lowercase letter.
  • Click Select a Plan
  • Click Choose Free
  • Welcome to GitHub

Once your free GitHub account is ready, it is required to follow next steps:

  • Go to https://github.com/join in a web browser.
  • Introduce username and password and "Sign in"
  • Go to your image (At top right) and "your repositories"
  • Click on "xxxxxxxxxx" and

Red Hat Automation Platform Access

First at all, it is required the instructor provides the following information:

  • <tower_ip> (Red Hat Automation Platform Access IP)
  • <studentxx> (User ID provided to perform this laboratory)

Once previous information has been received, please follow next steps in order to access Red Hat Automation Platform interface:

  • Go to https://<tower_ip>
  • Introduce <studentxx> username and <studentxx> as password
  • Click SIGN IN
