After sketching a route in ATIP, an important question is "will it fit" -- what is the available road width along the route? Focusing on "pinch points" is important -- where is the available space the narrowest, and how long does that last? The Inclusive Mobility guide and/or LTN 120 describe some requirements/best practices here... something like "going down to 1.5m cycle lane width is OK if it's for less than 100m".
So the idea is to start from vector curb data from OS mastermap or similar, and a route polyline, and check width along the route.
