What!

• I'm using Discussions as a place to think aloud, quietly, within earshot of other members of the community. I hope that you ask questions in complete sentences, with at least seventeen words spanning about three clauses in each.

How?

• Include at least one sentence, of similar minimum word- and clause-count to the limits in previous hope, that is a statement of facts, about yourself, with emphasis upon on any background you may have in the study of theoretical algorithms, and the operation and feeding of the millenial datacentre, although if you lack either such background, even a default "I know nothing about computers, because I work all day serving drinks at the pub, then play slowhand impersonator at the crossroads after midnight." is much more information than simply speaking and expecting that the entire planet already knows who you are.

• Only participate in a conversation, other than ones that you initiate, after concisely declaring both that the conversation interests you, and how much of its previous context you have digested;
• Welcome others and are open-minded. Remember that the Tree of Liberty grows so tall on the heap of human waste, that there is living room in its branches for minds that think as well as you do, without ever even climbing.
