As per the stage/main process change on milo, Adobe Students Milo will be adopting a similar process for adobe-students and will be documented here :
"Main" branch will be locked and all the PRs/commits will need to go through "Stage" branch. CC Code Owners will be merging PR's from stage to main. 1 approval from CC Code owners is needed to merge to stage branch. PFB the Flow diagram of the process :
When a Pull Request is raised against main the follow must happen:
- The "Ready for Main" label is applied.
- PR will be approved and merged by code owners on the CC branch.
When there is a CSO Revert the PR on stage branch and then revert the offending PR on the main branch. After the CSO has been resolved, please follow the below process within next working day :
- Re-sync stage from main
- Reopen all the PR's on stage
