AFAIK, franklin live indexing of published documents is happening in the admin-core somewhere. |

I've reached out to the Franklin team and community [1] to discuss the possibility of adding an index for preview documents, i.e. documents on sharepoint that have only been previewed but not published yet.
The product team has not received any similar requests for such a preview index feature yet and hence has not put this request on their roadmap yet. The milo commerce team is planning to implement a corresponding feature since we are rolling out an index-based card collection block. Authors need to be able to see unpublished documents in the final experience on hlx.page.
