A Windows, Unix/Linux, Macintosh machine capable of running MathWorks MATLAB software version R2011b or later. The software package may work on previous releases of MATLAB, but it was not checked for compatibility.

In order to compare the performance of OC with other sparse signal reconstruction algorithms, one would need to download the packages from their respective websites:
- Fast Bayesian Matching Pursuit (FBMP) http://www2.ece.ohio-state.edu/~zinielj/fbmp/download.html.
- Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP) http://www.personal.soton.ac.uk/tb1m08/sparsify/sparsify.html.
