Auto-Backup

Shell script made to automate the process of send backup files to a remote drive.

🔧 Tools:

  • GNU Bash: A command line interpreter known between others translators for user to operational systems, known by shell.

💻 How to Run:

  • This project can be run normally in a Linux environment.
  • Feel free to try to recompile this project to a Windows environment or your preferential SO.
  1. Compiling the project:
  chmod +x projectname.sh
  1. Run this projectção ção (Linux):
  • Go to the script file path via terminal.

  • Run the command below in your terminal.

      ./projectname
  1. Wait the script run time.

  2. Check in your remote drive that the files are ok in the path you indicate.
