Download x number of next unplayed episodes? (plus couple of others)

I often download long running podcasts and I like to start at the beginning and work my way through.

Would it be possible to have some automation where if you're playing oldest to newest, you could tell podgrab to download the next 1, 2 or 3 (or x) unplayed episodes?

It would be great as you'd be able to always have a certain number available to you.
I use a pair of swimming headphones/mp3 player which automatically syncs certain folders when connected.

In addition to this, auto delete of played episodes would be a nice feature.

Finally, making the filters stick upon logging in, so I always see the same view in episodes (ie keeping oldest to newest) rather than having to change it each time.
