Disabling Dashboard Instances

Disabling instances

1. Load the google cloud admin page for the relevant instance
2. Click on the menu icon in the top left corner and select "App Engine" from the list
3. Choose the settings option, then click "Disable application"
4. You will be required to enter the project id, then the instance will be disabled
5. This prevents the instance from serving anything - however keeps the datastore etc. intact
