An easier way to give out promo codes directly from your iPhone.
This was built primarily to use redeem links such as those from the Tokens Mac App http://usetokens.com (no affiliation, I just like the product). Just paste a set of links into this app to easily share them piecemeal. This app does not fetch codes from ITC etc. It is only meant as a UI for sharing.
I found that I was often handing out codes for my apps in person. Using a text file was getting tedious, so I built this in between sessions at Macworld.
Dispenser lets you share one or more codes via email, iMessage, etc. You can set your own sharing text via Settings.
Useful for devs, but also a simple app to showcase modern iOS design (using iOS 6 and XCode 4.6 goodies):
• UICollectionView
• Storyboards and segues (including unwind segues)
• UIActivityViewController (sharing) APIs
• NSDataDetectors for parsing text for links
It's all about promotion.
Just paste these or your own into the text view after hitting (+), and the rest will be taken care of.
