Hi,

I'm able to run miraclecast in sink mode and display my phone screen on my laptop.

But when i'm trying to display my laptop screen on my TV, the connection fail to establish.
On my computer i directly see that it fails in miracle-wifid log, but on my TV it keep the connection loading page for a while before showing an error saying registration failed. (i've checked and my computer is in the allowed list on the TV)

If i run miracle-wifid with log level trace, i got a P2P-GO-NEG-FAILURE status=4, but with no prior error message, so i'm clueless about what's going wrong... here is the log :

root@franck-inspiron:/usr/local/src/miraclecast-master/res# miracle-wifid --log-level=trace --log-time

How can i get more info on what's going on ?

Thanks, Franck.

P.S : i use systemd 229, and all test are passed for hardware and gstreamer.

Check #4. Is getting a lot of traction and is a long wanted feature. Close this if that's what you're looking for

I'm aware of #4 and i was thinking to try and help on the debug of a stream to the TV, but here the connection is not successful, and i don't see why, there is no info except this P2P-GO-NEG-FAILURE status=4 in the log right ? So how can i got more debug on what's going on, any hint ?

Sounds great!. You can start reading about group formation on

https://www.wi-fi.org/downloads-registered/Wi-Fi_Display_Specification_v1.1.zip/Wi-Fi%2BDisplay%2BTechnical%2BSpecification%2Bv1.1/21848

There's a widi direct spec too. I will link as soon as possible
