release 2.4.1 for JOSS paper

We need to make another release to bring the zenodo archive into sync with the paper after solving #402.

I'd like to make this 2.4.1 with minimal changes.

@xiki-tempula we need another quick release. Please no substantial merges (no new features that would bump the minor release number) until then.

Release is done and on PyPi and on zenodo https://zenodo.org/records/13799342

(I found out that it's a terrible idea to have multiple tags (like 2.4.1-rc1 and 2.4.1) on the same commit as this messes up the pypi action. So avoid that in the future...)
