JOSS paper #71
Comments
I'm up for it. I apologize for my somewhat slow response rates recently. I'm invested in making sure there's a long term replacement for alchemical-analysis. Am teaching a new class, so response rate will stay a bit slow for a couple of months for larger coding things. |
Sounds good to me. |
Sounds good to me too! Please, let me know if there's anything I can help you with |
* add CITATION.cff file * close #394 * add all AUTHORS with ORCIDs and affiliation (as far as they are confirmed); order based on AUTHORS * add alchemlyb PIs * add contributors that were listed in JOSS paper acknowledgements (PR #328) but had NOT been listed in AUTHORS (inserted in chronological order) * only add emails for maintainers/PIs * add Software Heritage Identifier * add paper citation section for MBAR, decorrelation, and preliminary citation for JOSS paper #71 * add one new contributor (from recent PR #381) to AUTHORS and CITATIONS.cff
- close alchemistry#402 - use same title in CITATION.cff for paper and project (required for the JOSS paper publication alchemistry#71) - added DOI for preferred citation in note because that is the only hint that shows up on zenodo)
The paper was published today openjournals/joss-reviews#6934 (comment) as https://doi.org/10.21105/joss.06934 . |
Write a short software paper on alchemlyb/alchemtest for JOSS.
A JOSS paper does not really pre-empt a full scientific paper (such as a "Best practices in free energy calculations" for LiveCOMS, unless this is already in the works) but it would put a citable "stake in the ground".
Opinions @davidlmobley @mrshirts @brycestx @shuail @harlor @dotsdl @alchemistry/alchemlyb ?
