Scapes Pictures

Hi guys, is it possible to get the pictures taken by the community using this api? I'm a total newbie about it.

@osmala I am not aware of a way to do that through the API, but if you find out a way yourself please do share and I will add it to this repo.

You could try to setup Postman as a proxy for your iPhone and capture the outgoing requests that are made by the GTS Companion app.
You then have to go through all the requests and try to find the one of interest - assuming that the app interacts with the GT Sport API directly.

I just did the postman proxy stuff but the app do not connect to the internet, I tried navigate the web and I noticed that some links appear at the History on postman but nothing from "GTS companion app"... 😥

I set Postman up on my own laptop and investigated the requests that are being sent by the app.
While the App uses the API directly for a few things related to the photo endpoint, the trending scapes pictures are not one of them.
Instead, a GET https://api.gtsportraces.com/static/trending-scape-photos is made (gtsportraces.com is the normal website for the GTS Companion app).
The response content looks a lot like the one you would expect from the official GT Sport API.

I don't know why they do it this way - when I simply visit the GT Sport website and navigate to the trending scapes photos, the corresponding requests seem to be:

• POST https://www.gran-turismo.com/de/api/gt7sp/photo/
  with body job=12&type=11
• and another request to the same URL with body job=12&type=3

This will give you a list of items.

If you also want the actual pictures, you will have to issue individual requests for each.
For this, you will need a GET request to:
https://www.gran-turismo.com/gtsport/photo/<photo_id>_<type>.jpg
<photo_id> and <type> have to be replaced by the information obtained from the first response.

I couldn't find a way to fetch only images from my Scapes pictures, is it possible?

You could filter the response for the entries containing your user_id, is that what you mean?

I don't know if this is the solution, but what i'd like to do is only fetch my scapes now(because I can control the picture format for phones wallpaper)
