Where can I learn more about the topic "Code of Conduct"?

The Open Source Guide about the "Code of Conduct" provides a good explanation and has a bunch of valuable information. Also the website of the Contributor Covenant (from which the Algorithm Archive's code of conduct is derived) provides more insight.

Where does the Code of Conduct take effect?

This is specified in the Code of Conduct itself:

This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces, and it also applies when an individual is representing the project or its community in public spaces. Examples of representing a project or community include using an official project e-mail address, posting via an official social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or offline event. Representation of a project may be further defined and clarified by project maintainers.

So the Code of Conduct applies for the Algorithm Archive project spaces and when an individual is representing this project.

What happens if someone violates the Code of Conduct?
