Canadian Amateur Radio Test Bank Archive

This repository serves as an archive for the Canadian Amateur Radio Test Bank, including both the Basic and Advanced levels. This archive aims to preserve and provide easy access to the questions and answers used in the licensing exams for amateur radio operators in Canada.

Overview

The Canadian Amateur Radio Test Bank consists of questions that are used to assess the knowledge of individuals seeking to obtain an amateur radio operator license in Canada. This repository contains an archive of both the Basic and Advanced test banks. The archive serves as a reference for how the test banks have changed over time.

How?

Every day at UTC noon, a series of GitHub actions is triggered. These actions download the test bank, and if there is an update, they commit the files to this archive.

Basic Level Test Bank

The Basic level covers fundamental topics related to amateur radio operations, including regulations, operating practices, and basic electronics. Passing the Basic exam is a prerequisite for obtaining an amateur radio license.

The Advanced level covers more complex topics such as advanced electronics, antennas, and transmission lines. This level is intended for those who wish to gain additional privileges and operate higher-power transmitters.
