This is the extent of our source code archives for Kroz as pulled from the dusty archives of Scott Miller's old floppy discs.  This is all we know to still exist.  Not every Kroz game's source exists, but what we do have is here, including backups and revisions.

The code is licensed under the terms of the GPL (gnu public license).  You should read the entire license (filename "GNU.TXT" in this archive), so you understand your rights and what you can and cannot do with the source code from this release.

Please do not contact us for possible commercial exploitation of Kroz -- we will not be interested.

Please note that this is being released without any kind of support from Apogee Software, Ltd / 3D Realms Entertainment.  We cannot help in getting this running and we do not guarantee that you will be able to get it to work, nor do we guarantee that it won't blow up your computer if you do try and use it.  We don't even guarantee it will compile!  Use at your own risk.

MISC NOTES ABOUT THIS RELEASE

- Originally, when Kroz was a "new" title in the late 80's, the source code to the games used to be sold.  Here's a listing of what the source code would have cost 20 years ago had you been interested in buying it.  This was for more than just Kroz, as well.

- As was said above, not all the source code for all the Kroz games is here.  We looked around, and could not find any more than what is included in this archive.  There's also duplicates (and in some cases triplicate) backups of the same game.  It was decided to just go ahead and include everything we have as opposed to trying to clean up the multiple backups.   That's why you see backup1 and backup2 as some directory names.
