Adding a Fritzbox behind GS3

This is a special use case if you want to have f.e. the families phones on the fritzbox with wlan and a private lan and, on the other side, an office area - all behind one internet access. You need to have a separate network in front of the Fritzbox in this case for the phones and computers within the office.

If you have this need for adding a Fritzbox behind GS3, you will have to add an entry on the Fritzbox for each number you are using inside the families area on GS3. Create the normal user/extension setup in your web interface before you are going to setup within the Fritzbox web interface:

Telefonie -> Eigene Rufnummern -> Neue Rufnummer

Internetrufnummer -> Weiter

anderer Anbieter auswählen

• Rufnummer für die Anmeldung: <area code><number> (f.e. 0891234567, where 089 ist full area code)
• Interne Rufnummer in der Fritzbox: any number you decide, could be a shorter version

Zugangsdaten

• Benutzername: configured User in GS3
• Kennwort: SIP password, do not use the PIN here (go to the Administration -> User -> and edit to review
• Registrar: Your GS3 box, either DNS name or IP
• Weiter -> review your input -> Weiter -> a test to connect to your GS3 will be run -> Weiter
• Go to Telefoniegeräte and allocate the new number to a service (i.e. device, answering machine etc.)
