genshin impact- password not working in input box

ive tried multiple different things- change wine, etc.
and none have worked, whenever I try to type the password in the box it literally just doesn't show up (it doesn't work either when I press enter, it just tells me there's an error !!! )

is there anyway to fix this,,,

It does actually work. The only thing that happens is that it doesn't display, which is harmless. You should still be able to login if you typed your password correctly.

i also noticed this i am on arch linux installed through flatpak and using cinnamon as the desktop environment.

For me, it worked perfectly until yesterday, when I had to format my drive for unrelated reasons. After reinstalling, I started encountering this issue. Even if you enter the password, the CAPTCHA is just a white box (doesn't work), so you can't log in.
