This can be closed when the list of bureaucratic requirements from the grad school and department have been converted into issues in this repo with corresponding deadlines. Some such issues are described in the template repos that I tried to create recently. It's not complete, but take a look at this for inspiration: https://github.com/orgs/arfc/projects/31 .
