If alphas contribute significantly to the ionisation then it might worth making a separate Spencer-Fano calculation. Sending them to k-packet directly probably makes more sense than treating them as non-thermal electron deposition with the wrong cross sections. This will only affect future runs that have both NT_ON and ThermalisationScheme::DETAILED.
