Following this tutorial through module 5 step 12 inadvertently cost us over 2,700 dollars because it was not made clear that simply making your customized Titan model available to be called would be engaging the exorbitant "Provisioned Throughput Pricing". The customized model didn't work with the initial set of parameters I used (which were chosen to reduce the training time from 12 hours to about 4 hours), so I just didn't use the model anymore for a few days. The model was never invoked more than a few times. Then our accounting department asked what this $2,700 charge was about. I was blind-sided. This is a perfect example of cause for hesitancy in trying new cloud tools. It shouldn't be this easy to fall into a trap.
