I recently learned that the old steam link devices have a simple way to enable ssh access as well as a "native app" SDK. I see that people have experimented with running Kodi on it. I figure if it can run Kodi it should be able to run snapclient without any issues, but I'm getting a bit lost in the sauce about how to install.
The out of the box userspace is really stripped down. I couldn't find any package manager but maybe rpm via busybox? I'm having a hard time even telling what distro it was based on. The device doesn't have a discrete audio output other than the HDMI port.
Any thoughts on:
Whether getting snapclient to run is viable?
Whether it's likely to find any audio device one it's on there?
