shields.io

🐞 Description

  • i think there have been cases where specifying logoSize=auto seems to have reduced the size.
  • style used is style=for-the-badge.

can that be the case?
edit: yeah, confirmed with logo=androidstudio, and also for logo=jupyter, apachemaven, pipx, simpleicons, typst

  • i am/will be using these for github profile readme, and
  • i don't have any particular constraint for logo size.

rather,

  • i want the logos to be nice and large, and clearly readable.

🔗 Link to the badge

  • latex - without logoSize param
  • latex-auto - with logoSize=auto
  • cpp - without
  • cpp-auto - with auto
  • androidstudio - without
  • androidstudio-auto - with auto
  • jupyter - without
  • jupyter-auto - with auto
directly linked previews:
  • pl - default
  • pla - auto
  • pcp - default
  • pcpa - auto
  • pas - default
  • pasa - auto
  • pj - default
  • pja - auto

💡 Possible Solution

so,

  • having some particular key or even a value for logoSize which always makes the logos to be larger
would help a lot in that

this would return the maximum of the default fixed size, or the size returned from auto
